COURSE OF FIRE

1500 points are possible in each of two separate matches. Each match is broken down into 5 stages, which are also called matches. Each match within the 1500 is fired from a different distance and under different time limits.

Revolvers and Semi-Auto's are used, but no more than 6 rounds of ammo are permitted in the gun at one time. If the course of fire calls for 12 rounds, 6 shots are fired, unload then reload and fire the next 6 rounds. It takes a minimum of 3 speedloaders or magazines, but 4 are strongly recommended. A semi-auto match must be scored at least once in order to qualify for the Governor’s 20.
