What does the U.P.O.A. do for you?

THE U.P.O.A.

• provides a $1000.00 insurance benefit to your beneficiary in the event of your death, whether accidentally or through other causes
• publishes The Utah Peace Officer magazine (you receive three issues per year)
• is a voting member of the Utah Law Enforcement Legislative Committee
• maintains a voting position on P.O.S.T. Council
• initiated and supported the construction and funding of the new Utah Law Enforcement Memorial at the Utah State Capitol to honor officers killed in the line-of-duty
• maintains a voting position on the Utah State Retirement Council
• hosts two conventions each year focusing on training, shooting competitions, and building friendships
• provides training opportunities in every corner of the state
• organizes and sponsors the Governor’s Twenty to recognize shooting proficiency
